My name is Sara. I am a loving, fun, vivacious woman with a love for photography. While I love photographing everything I see capturing the intimate moments of people is my passion. Whether it is the moment a child realizes something for the first time or a teenager finally sees who they really are I LOVE to be there. I want to freeze the moment of joy shared by a family as they play together. I want to capture forever the love of a newly engaged couple. It is what I love to do! Here you'll find the 'stories' whether in word or image of those most precious moments. Enjoy!

color ... something i am now considering in a whole new way. there is so much you can do with color in digital photography. translation: there is so much that can go wrong with color in digital photography. here's a good example. a month ago i worked the photo (first shot) and thought it was good. a month later i notice both of us look like we have jaundice! so i reworked it a little bit (second photo). now color translates as correct color, enhanced color, clipped color, cool color, color casts, reflective color, and warm color. and that's just trying to get it to look like it does in real life. then there's all the cool artsy things you can do with color. color - so much more than yellow, red, and blue!

it really is fascinating/overwhelming all the stuff you can do with color. I just still can't get over the old-man-balding-mullet hair of that cute baby. Who's kid is that anyway?

:) I should have chosen a more flattering picture ... sorry! But I still thought it was so cute!
