My name is Sara. I am a loving, fun, vivacious woman with a love for photography. While I love photographing everything I see capturing the intimate moments of people is my passion. Whether it is the moment a child realizes something for the first time or a teenager finally sees who they really are I LOVE to be there. I want to freeze the moment of joy shared by a family as they play together. I want to capture forever the love of a newly engaged couple. It is what I love to do! Here you'll find the 'stories' whether in word or image of those most precious moments. Enjoy!

compare and contrast

living in grenada has come with unique challenges in learning photography. while i am provided with beautiful scenery and the cutest models in the world! i lack a teacher. luckily i have also been lucky enough to find others who share my same interest and together we help each other learn. and here, on my blog i've thought of another way i can learn down here. not only learn, but also recognize improvement. sometimes it get's so frustrating because there's still so much to learn, but here's a chance to see how things are progressing. i'd also like to make new goals based on where i see weaknesses. in this way i can have a concentrated effort and can make greater progress. i welcome any thoughts and ideas anyone can provide! so here's goes ...

a good example of my stuff from august can be found in my past three entries.

Improvements:
skin tone - i think my skin tones are brighter and more true to life.
eyes - i am getting better about getting light into the eyes, making peoplelook alive.
focus - i noticed that in general my focus is better
clean pp - the post processing has gotten cleaner and softer

goals:
focus - continue working on getting that focus right on the eyes
aperture - i'd like to play with my aperture more, especially in catching a sun flare
color - i'd like to play with the color in my photos a little more since i now understand true color
composition - id' like to find more creative compositions

those are lofty goals, but at least i have some! let me know what you think!

thanks,
sara
