My name is Sara. I am a loving, fun, vivacious woman with a love for photography. While I love photographing everything I see capturing the intimate moments of people is my passion. Whether it is the moment a child realizes something for the first time or a teenager finally sees who they really are I LOVE to be there. I want to freeze the moment of joy shared by a family as they play together. I want to capture forever the love of a newly engaged couple. It is what I love to do! Here you'll find the 'stories' whether in word or image of those most precious moments. Enjoy!

my own

Well I've had some wonderful comments and emails about that last post. I've reached two conclusions. 1) I guess "people (do) love stories" and 2) While I don't have to spell it out every post I should write some of the story. I'll do my best! If it get's to be too much feel free to let me know!

This little girl is the sum of all my heart. She fills each and every crevice of me.
I am rewarded a hundred times a day for caring for her. In her smiles, her dimples that she gets from her daddy. As her small hands move over my face. I want to savor every moment with her. I want to imprint every part of her in my memory. I can't ever take too many pictures of her. Her teeth, her cheeks, her hands, her toes. All of it makes up my definition of perfection.

I am so completely in love with her. Whether she's practically jumping up and down because I've come to get her from her nap. Or she's crawling after me because I've gone into the bathroom (four feet from her). I can't ever get enough of her babble or her laugh. I know everything there is to know about her and she knows lots about me. We make a good team. We are good friends. We are the world to each other.

I wasn't prepared for the love. I was prepared for the dirty diapers and the sleepless nights, but not the love. Motherhood has brought me inexpressible joy. I didn't know what I was missing!

Happy Mother's Day (a little early!)

Motherhood has a magic all it's own. You express it so well. I've never been able to put it into words quite as well as you have. Children bring a magic with them that lights up the world of those lucky enough to have them.
Your daughter is so beautiful. It's easy to see why you would be in love with her. I can't wait to see her when we get into town (someday)

Thanks you guys! Awe!
Amy - She put herself to sleep! I was walking around scouting one last spot for pictures since she was getting tired and when I turned around she was sleeping! (In the stroller of course). So I made the most of the situation :)

Jessica - I'm so flattered! I actually made her dress! It was for Easter!

Casey - Thanks! She posed herself. I was too scared to posed her - didn't want to wake her up. Too bad I hadn't taken the binky out yet. Which by the way mysteriously disappeared after these pictures were taken. Now we only have green ones left.
